It’s been built brick by brick, stone by stone, the moat filled with water and goldfish – because fish are calming – and the castle grounds have been laid, planted with a variety of lush foliage. It’s all waiting for you. Waiting for you to take up quill and pen, carve out a sacred writing space for yourself, and truly invest in your talent.
It’s time to stop playing around with this writing thing and do it. Don’t you think? So climb the spire, one echoing step at a time, candlelight catching in the shadows and leading your way, and step out into the sunshine. Take a look around you. The view reaches as far as the horizon. The world is at your feet, immeasurable, expansive, and waiting for your words.
What is The Poet’s Lair?
Well, I am glad you asked.
The Poet’s Lair is a unique community. Yes, it is a paid newsletter – but so much more than that. Most paid newsletters serve the function of building a fanbase for a particular artist, musician, or writer. But The Poet’s Lair is different.
The Poet’s Lair is a newsletter service created to serve poets, teach poets, feed poets, and connect poets to a greater future for their work. It is a place to learn more about the craft, interact with others who are just as dedicated to their poetic craft as you are, and draw on the wisdom, the inspiration, and the lessons of famous poets and their work.
It is a place to grow your poetic voice and set goals for your poetic pieces. And I’ll show you, step by step, how to do this for yourself.

All passion projects such as this need vision. What I did with The POM group on Medium, I have done with The Poet’s Lair to the Nth power. All things in The POM led to the creation of something bigger and more focused on the needs of poets and creative writers. And it goes far beyond the Medium playground.
