Yesterday, Fiddleheads & Floss hosted DAY TWO of #GrowMyFollowing, and it was all about CTA’s, Circular Marketing Strategy, and developing a lead magnet to represent our voice and branding. Today is DAY THREE and we are putting some of the things we have covered in the course into ACTION.
Today is all about doing all of that while incorporating authentic engagement.
Today is twofold.
First,
I’d like to hear any input on yesterday’s course materials, especially your lead magnet. I spent hours—and I do mean hours—designing mine tonight and attaching it to the outgoing welcome message that generates when people sign up for my email list. I am so excited! I’ve had an email list for over a year now and have given it so little attention. As we all know, an email list is a crucial part of any writer or entrepreneur’s overall growth strategy.

We are going to put those lead magnets to work for us: TODAY. If you have not finished yours or need help, leave a comment. I invite all of you who are working this program to leave a comment on this thread. Tell us who you are. Give us an update. Tell us about your lead magnet. Ask for help if you need it. I'll go first:
I've been busy tailoring the coursework, so that's a given.
So far, I have added a few email subscribers this week, so that is a celebration. And the real work has not even started!
I created a lead magnet that represents my branding well, I think. It is a daily To-Do sheet that helps you focus on what is truly meaningful in your life--with a little poetic flair.
I added the lead magnet to my email welcome automation. Now I am ready for DAY THREE.

Today my brain was fried, so I took a day to catch up with housework. Tomorrow I will work on catching up.
Somehow, the content seems more relatable when it's someone you're familiar with, instead of a total stranger. Looking forward to learning the material as It will help in more ways than one. :) my eyes are going blurry so I'll sign off for now.
