How’s Your Journey Going?
My journey. Your journey. Weight loss journey, wellness journey, mental health journey…The word journey has take on a modern-day buzzword status.
#JOURNEY
Ah, to be on our journeys—like life gave us a chance to pack a bag or pick up one of those handy travel guides.
Like…where, exactly, are we all going?
As a content writer I’ve learned that my work isn’t necessarily about the writing but about my readers. I have to be tuned into my own journey in order to inspire my readers to enjoy theirs.
This is important as a wellness writer. I write about productivity, wellness, authenticity, and trauma. I write about bad relationships a lot because I’ve mastered getting into and out of them. Perhaps one day, I’ll master not getting into them.
And I write a lot about productivity—because I’ve had to learn to deal with the cacophony of ADHD voices that live in my head.
Wherever you are on your journey, I invite you to continue learning about yourself, just as I am trying to do each day. Learn about how your mind works, and what you need to be healthy. These are important things.
A Few Things to Pack for Your Journey
With that, here are some of the latest tools I’ve created—which I hope inspire you to keep going. Keep trying.

On the Homefront
Occasionally, I update my readers with interesting things going on in my life. It’s a lovely spring here in Jacksonville, NC. The ducks that live on our pond are giving us a lot of grief because they are quite addicted to dog food.
Who even knew that could end up being such a problem?
Either way, the ducks are quite photogenic—and prolific. A baby girl that was born just last fall just hatched out her first clutch a few days ago—TWENTY of them. Good Lord!
Thanks to the hawks and owls that also live here…as of this morning, she’s now down to 5 babies.
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy…
