Hello, F & F readers & freelance writers,
Today, I have a few warnings for you.
This past week, I received a very nasty message on LinkedIn. I’d messed up. Big time. And some doctor guy from New York was quite angry about it.
I wanted to share that experience with you, but also warn you so this type of thing doesn’t happen to you.
On the homefront…here’s the news!
I’m still working very, very hard to save money for my upcoming move. This will be my 4th move in 2 years. I’m tired of moving, but this time, it’s out of my hands. I have to move by October.
I’m taking every order that comes my way. I still have NINE professional blogs due by the end of the month and I’m working on not one but TWO poetry manuscript edits. I’m grateful for all the work—but tired.
I’m polishing up my website and my resume. It’s time to pitch higher-paying clients and expand my portfolio. I can feel that next rung on the ladder of success—forming, within reach!
I’m looking for clients I’ve worked with in the past to write me a recommendation for either my LinkedIn or for my website.
I’m still having trouble with my neck. It’s causing a lot of neck pain and weakness in my arms. I’m needing orthopedic care at this time—but this will have to wait until I can resolve my housing crisis.
I also have some dental work that needs to be done really, really soon. That, too, is on hold until I can settle housing.
Everything else is going well—I just need to work, work, work!
