Are Your Writing Objectives a Muddled Mess? Here's How to Fix That
Let's talk about defining your writing objectives and a marketing strategy that works
As a freelancer, I have lots of orders each month to keep up with—among other things. My schedule is a tight, well-planned machine. It’s complex and purposeful. And it really, really works.
There are:
Newsletters
Writing platforms
Content and SEO writing
Client orders
Traffic funnels
Each one of these needs its own writing and marketing plan so that objectives can be met—objectives that all add up to a successful writing and editing career.
So far, so good!
I’ve learned a lot about how to organize an overwhelming amount of writing work each month so that I am highly productive and can prioritize my money-makers. I also have to make sure communication lines with my readers are used purposefully. I cannot waste my readers’ time and neither should you waste yours.
Today, I wrote about how I do it. And how you can define the paths you need so that your writing is clear, directional, and purposeful.
Take the time today to read this piece and think over how you might improve your own writing objectives.

One last thing—every now and then, just write something you love. This BEHEMOTH ARTICLE is one of my proudest pieces. It’s earned little but means so much for me to share. Sometimes, just write those pieces that matter to your heart. Perhaps, like this one, they’ll get curated, shared, and enjoyed by many—for years to come.
Have a great day, dear writer and friend.
